PBs and Podiums!

Termoneeny Runners show no signs of easing up as race season is in full swing with a plethora or pbs and podiums once again this week!

Lady of the Lake 10K and 5K

Congratulations to Andy Campbell who set a new 10K PB on Tuesday at The Lady of the Lake Road Race in Irvinestown in an unofficial time of 1:03:38 – an impressive 6 mins faster than his previous pb. Also running was Sabrena McLaughlin who finished the 5K course in a super time of 33:10 – fantastic running from both runners in warm and humid conditions.

Glenullin Annual 5K/10K Road Race

Termoneeny were out in force at this year’s Glenullin Community Annual 5k & 10k Run. Well done everyone on the challenging courses and muggy conditions!  Helen Quinn took first lady in the 10k and race organiser Michelle Comer took first place in the 5K race.  Congratulations ladies! Run Killarney 10K

Huge congratulations to Breda McPeake who knocked an amazing 4 mins off her 10k time at the Run Killarney 10k on Saturday 20th July.  Billed as “The World’s Most Beautiful Road Race”, Breda finished in a super time of 52:24, Fantastic work Breda well done!

Acorns Bluebelles 5K

Our ladies successes continued this weekend as Ann McGarvey secured another podium by winning her age category at Saturday morning’s Acorns Bluebelles 5k around the beautiful Lough Fea – congratulations Ann! Well done to all of our awesome ladies who took part. ECOS Parkrun Ballymena

Well done to Kevin McErlean who took park in the ECOS Parkrun in Ballymena this morning, finishing in a fantastic time of 26:25. This was Kevin’s 17th Parkrun and 4th at ECOS. Keep up the good work Kevin!

Magheraveely FC 5Mile Run

Huge congratulations to Andy Campbell who set his THIRD PB this week at this Friday evening’s Magheraveely FC 5 Mile Run, shaving a fantastic 5 minutes off his previous time at this distance in a time of 49:48. The route started on the main street of Magheraveely village, travelled towards Lacky and Dummy’s lough before making its way back to Magheraveely village. Well done Andy

The Barclay Run

Congratulations to Ann Johnston, Declan Leung and Jacqueline McGonigle who took part in the Barclay Run this morning in Carrickfergus. The run was loops of the Carrickfergus Parkrun at the Amphitheatre Wellness Centre with participants choosing their own distance. This was a fundraiser event for Tony Barclay organised by We Run Wild Ni. Declan completed 15 loops, Ann completed 13 for her 2nd Half Marathon with Jacqueline completing 6 for a 10k.

KBC South Dublin 10K

A huge well done to Tommy Hughes who finished in 9th place in Sunday’s South Dublin 10K overall out of a field of 2562 runners. Tommy completed it in a fantastic time of 33:56 and won 1st place in his age category. Brilliant running Tommy and well done again!
