East Antrim Marathon Series 6 Hour Challenge
Always ready to take on a long distance run is Declan Leung and on Sunday he did just that by participating in the East Antrim Marathon Series 6 hour challenge. This event took place at the V36 Park in Newtonabbey and the aim for all competitors was to complete as many laps of just under 2 miles as possible in 6 hours. Declan ran 19 laps which accounted for an astounding total of 36.8 miles covered in a time of 6:16:52. This is a tremendous achievement for Declan and he also acquired a new 50 k personal best.
Dog Trails NI Drumnaph Canicross
The dynamic duo of Jacqueline McGonigle and her dog Bobby were on top form again when they were prize-winners at another Canicross event, this time taking place in Drumnaph Nature Reserve.
